At Hickory Hideout, we have a maximum capacity of 6 people total. That includes a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children/infant(s). Please inquire at time of booking.

As part of this reservation, we will ask you upon booking to agree to a Short Term Rental Agreement that will be sent to your email registered with Airbnb. This simply helps create awareness and to help keep Hickory Hideout in great condition for everyone to enjoy.

The space
Secluded, yet not far off the beaten path, Hickory Hideout has three levels and offers you two en suites bathrooms where we made every effort to make this cabin more than just home away from home. Each bedroom is furnished with a 43” Smart TV and plush queen beds for you relaxed and at ease after a day of fun. The main level includes the kitchen, half bath, laundry with front load washer and dryer, and a main living area. The living room is stately and inviting with its marvelous cathedral ceilings and double sliding glass doors for picturesque views of the secluded mountainside and is situated with fine leather furniture, fur rug, fireplace and 50” Smart TV. The lower level encompasses a space that can be used as a private master suite or shared living space including a bedroom, full jack and jill bath with tile surround shower and living room with a full size Lazy-boy sofa sleeper. The open air covered deck is off the main level with areas for lounging and dining. There is also a partially screened in patio in the lower level that leads to the outdoor fire pit where you can enjoy the serenity of a warm, crackling fire under the illumination of the ambient lighting.

Hickory Hideout is equipped with Wi-Fi for use during your stay as well as well as Sling TV (live sports and popular cable channels), Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, HBO on Demand and access to a full suite of digital movies on Google Play.

***The cabin can accommodate 2 additional guests (maximum 6 guests) for an additional fee of $15 per guest per night. We do not allow pets at this time.***

The roads to Hickory Hideout are both paved and gravel and are suited for all vehicle types as well as expert motorcyclists. There is ample space at the cabin for trailers with turn around areas and an attached carport
Guest access
You'll have access to our entire cabin, all three levels, minus two closets for the cleaning supplies. We have over an acre of land that is marked off and yours to explore, but for safety we ask you to not go by the shed.
Additional notes
We will provide a couple of videos to help guide you along to mountain and easily find the cabin. This is very helpful to review prior to your journey.

Neighborhood overview
The Carolina Vistas is a quaint neighborhood northeast of Robbinsville. Most homes are A-frame and spaced nicely apart from one another. Creeks runs all throughout the mountainside. It's secluded, quiet, yest still very accessible.
Getting around
Hickory Hideout is within easy driving distance to many attractions including the Tail of the Dragon (19 miles), Nantahala Outdoor Center (19 miles) and Bryson City and the Smoky Mountain Railroad (24 miles). We specifically chose this property because of its location to all the great things that Western North Carolina has to offer.
